THE FERRY m/s G A SKYTTE (1981-1982)

The ferry m/s G A Skytte operated a summer service between Västervik and Byxelkrok during 1981 and 1982. Following the company's bankruptcy in 1983, the vessel was renamed Borgholm. She was later used as an entertainment and café vessel and subsequently as a hostel in Gothenburg, where she was severely damaged in a fire and explosion in 2006.
