TRY FREEDIVING IN THE HARBOUR

At the beginning of July, "Try Freediving" program made its debut at Bohlins Pier in Byxelkrok Harbour during a two-day event. The first participants were schoolchildren from Byxelkrok who, under the guidance of licensed free diving instructors Filippa and Josef, learned the basics of freediving.

For anyone who loves the sea and the Baltic Sea, Byxelkrok is the perfect place to discover marine life beneath the surface. Trying freediving is an unforgettable summer experience.

No further sessions are planned this year. However, the programme is expected to expand next summer, giving both children and adults the opportunity to try free diving and, for those interested, work towards a freediving certificate. A snorkelling trail is also planned in the bay just beyond the swimming jetty.
